It was a moment of pride and honour at the Headquarters today, Wednesday, 5th November, 2025, as newly promoted officers of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) were decorated in a colourful ceremony.
The event commenced with the participation of all newly promoted officers, who appeared smartly dressed and well prepared for the occasion. Their display of discipline and precision during the decoration parade earned the admiration of the Comptroller General, Dr. Vincent Isegbe, and other senior officers in attendance.
The ceremony also had in attendance Honourable Blessed Emmanuel Onah (JP), Member of the Benue State House of Assembly, who congratulated the newly promoted officers and encouraged them to remain diligent and dedicated in their new roles. In his words, “Anything you celebrate, you multiply and by witnessing this, I believe my own promotion is on the way.”
The CG commended the officers for their exemplary performance and charged them to continue upholding the values of professionalism, integrity, and excellence in the discharge of their duties.
