The Comptroller General of Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) Dr. Vincent Isegbe was over the weekend conferred with the “Public Official of the Year Award” by Top 10 Magazine.
The award was conferred on the CG at an elaborate award ceremony organised by Top 10 Magazine which held on Saturday, 8th February, 2025 at Sandralia Hotel, Jabi, Abuja.
In his opening remarks, the publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Top10 Magazine Mr. Tony Iji described the awardees as people who have attained excellence in the various sectors of the society.
The CG while responding on behalf of other awardees thanked the organisers for the recognition and commended them for their resilience and hard work while describing the gesture as a call to greater service to humanity and our Country Nigeria. He also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving him and other awardees the opportunity to serve in various capacities.
Other notable Nigerians who were conferred with deserving awards at the ceremony includes the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Dr. George Akume and Chief. Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo who bagged the award of Man of the Year and Woman of the Year respectively.
Others are Dr. Uche Ogah, former Minister of Mines and Steel, Mr. Akutah Ukeyima, Executive Secretary, Nigeria Shippers Council amongst other notable Nigerians.
