Finance / Accounts Department

The Finance and Accounts Department ensures the Agency’s compliance with financial and accounting regulations and observance of due diligence and cost-effective decision-making. The Department maintains an effective and adequate internal control system to safeguard NAQS assets. It keeps proper accounting records such as books of accounts, main and subsidiary ledgers. The Department also advises the accounting officer (the Director-General) on all financial matters as well as the import of technical provisions in financial regulations and relevant circulars.
