In a bid to foster stronger inter-service collaboration and mutual support, the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), Dr. Vincent Isegbe, recently paid a courtesy visit to Major General Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), Chairman to the Board, Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Service Board (CDCFIB).
During the visit, The CG emphasized the importance of deepening institutional friendship between the agencies and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Major General Jibril (Rtd.) on his appointment. He expressed confidence in General Jibril’s leadership and unwavering commitment to national service.
In response, General Jibril described Dr. Isegbe as a dependable and loyal ally, as well as a consummate public servant. He encouraged Dr. Isegbe to uphold the trust and confidence placed in him by Mr President upon his reappointment as the Comptroller General of NAQS.
The meeting highlighted the necessity for enhanced cooperation between NAQS and CDCFIB in order to achieve shared goals and improve the efficacy of their collective efforts in national security and safeguarding the agricultural economy of the country.
